About us

Gulfwater Group LLC and Gulfwater Properties LLC are based in New Orleans, Louisiana and are currently headed by it's Managing Director, Pieter C. Stoffels, LL.M.

Mr. Stoffels is originally from Kokomo, Indiana and lived in The Netherlands for an extended period. After relocating to New Orleans he founded Gulfwater. He's an attorney with close to 25 years of experience in urban- and real estate development. Bringing together public and private partners and executing successful projects on that basis, has always been at the heart of his career.  

His professional profile is characterized by entrepreneurship, determination, enthusiasm, creativity and a deep sense of involvement. He pairs this to a high degree of public and political sensitivity due to serving two terms as an elected Deputy Mayor.
